Dark Knight The Joker Statue

Product Description

Limited edition statue with only 6,000 pieces in circulation! Christian Bale once again embodies the man behind the mask in "The Dark Knight." The film reunites Bale with director Christopher Nolan and takes Batman across the world in his quest to fight a growing criminal threat. With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman) and District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart), Batman has been making headway against local crime...until a rising criminal mastermind known as The Joker (Heath Ledger) unleashes a fresh reign of chaos across Gotham City. To stop this devious new menace - Batman's most personal and vicious enemy yet - he will have to use every high-tech weapon in his arsenal and confront everything he believes.

Made of hand-painted cold-cast porcelain, this impressive collector's piece comes with a four-color Certificate of Authenticity. Measures approximately 10"tall x 10" wide x 6" deep.

BuZZ from Customer Shopping

Very disappointing, tantamount to fraud1
The manufacturer of this statue has evidently used the face of Heath Ledger made up as the Joker in all their ads and cover or box art; however, the face on the statue bears little resemblance to Heath Ledger! It seems to be a cross between the Dark Knight's Joker and the elongated face of the Joker from the comic books. Using photographic images made up to look like a statue to pre-sell it would appear to be an act of Fraud especially when the manufacturer continues to use the bogus artwork on the box. I'm wondering if we can start a class-action lawsuit for Fraud!

Put a SMILE on my face4
I normally do not buy statues. I'm just not that guy. Been reading and collecting comics for years. Hell, I put out my own comic book. I really don't consider this a toy, mainly because its A) not very fun to PLAY with and B) its too expensive to be "played" with. (I bought mine at a comic shop for $155 after having my eye on it for a few months.) I didn't buy it as an investment, but it was the only one I could justify buying for myself. I've always been a huge fan of Batman, more particularly the Joker (although I'm not fond of Jack Nicholson's portrayal of him) and I especially enjoyed Ledger's performance (RIP). In short, if your a fan of the Joker AND the Dark Knight and you happen to run across this, buy it if you can spare, it's not a bad piece.

crossed eyed joker4
nice figure but I agree with the other reviewer he looks crossed eyed.
for my money the bobble head joker has the best face job go figure
